Having hosted its multi-day training event at a resort and casino in the southwest for many years, this nationwide benefits service provider sought a virtual option during the pandemic. Enlisting the help of Rally Point Webinars, the company hosted a three-day virtual training event for several hundred new and returning agents to prepare them for the start of benefits enrollment season.
Day one of virtual training was for new hires only. Sessions held included: a company policy overview; how to prepare for an appointment; how to communicate with customers; and a review of internal systems. Virtual training sessions featured a number of company leaders presenting on various topics.
On days two and three, seasoned agents joined the virtual training to hear rotating speakers present on a variety of topics, as well as “role play” type training skits conducted by management joining from the company’s home office.
The virtual training included interactive features such as a monitored Q&A in the chat during presentations, a live Q&A at the end of each session, and poll questions.
